After sharing my sun-drenched three day trip to the Riviera Maya last month on SJ’s Style Compass, I’m so excited to announce that I’ve partnered with Fairmont Mayakoba - the luxury, eco-resort that hosted my stay – to launch an exciting giveaway!

To enter, you’ll be asked to answer a weekly question about the resort. Contest questions will be posted on SJ’s Style Compass each Wednesday beginning today, January 4, 2012, through February 1, 2012, and you’ll have until the following Monday at 9PM EST to post your answer as a comment on the blog.
Winners will be announced each Tuesday, culminating in the announcement of the grand prize winner on February 7th.
The grand prize* includes:

”The Fairmont Green Partnership program allows the eco-friendly hotels to meet and exceed guest expectations of operational sustainability. Efforts encompass everything from recycling and organic waste diversion in the hotel’s kitchens to retrofitting energy-efficient lighting. They also include such activities as redistribution of household goods and food to those in need, purchasing green power and employing sustainable energy technology.”
Very impressive…had no idea! I would LOVE to visit this property. Have a great weekend, Stephanie

What a great place to relax … as a guest one can be confident the Fairmont Green Partnership program makes sure the Fairmont Mayakoba, Riviera Maya minimizes the impact on it’s gorgeous natural surroundings. I can just picture myself on one of the many resort bicycles peddling to the spa with my Stephanie Johnson Riviera Maya clutch in hand. Eco-conscious transport 2 : )

Hi-
Answer to question #2:
Stephanie had the 60 minute reflexology treatment and the “Mayan Bath Ritual” symbolizes the cleansing of the body and soul.

Answer#2 – An off menu 60 minute reflexology treatment, that was sublime. I am jealous already.

a warm mexican welcome indeed “Our first night we returned to the room to find rose petals on our beds and floating in a warm bath. My daughter was smitten and wanted to bathe with the flowers again in the morning. A warm Mexican welcome.”

Stephanie’s “warm Mexican welcome” was the ultimate in nightly turn down service: Rose petals scattered on the beds and floating in a warm bath. So much more special than chocolates on the pillows. I think that the staff at the Mayakoba has the welcome thing down pretty well, and I would be happy to let them work their magic but I am actually trying to win this contest for one of my employees who has had a very rough couple of years and has not been able to afford a vacation. She is newly engaged and I think this would be an amazing place for her and her fiance to share. I imagine them enjoying the sunshine on the ride to the Mayakoba and then your staff saying, “Welcome Ms. Adler!” You’d have her at Hello!

Answer to question #5 ~
Stephanie and her daughter were treated to rose petals on the bed and floating in a warm bath as a warm Mexican welcome! I would love to be spoiled by this same special touch which is one of the many joys of the exceptional Fairmont Mayakoba!

Answer to #4:
Stephanie’s beautiful daughter’s name is Erela. The kids club at the Fairmont is called Children’s Adventure Club. Erela enjoyed a Chef Experence where they decorated chef’s hats and made cookies. A beautiful necklace with colorful beads was made for mom.
What a beautiful place to share with your child! But I’d love some of those spa treatments!!
